Yes you have found the right place. I first started my BBQ blog (bbqjon.com) way back in 2009. Recently I have decided to take down the old blog and move everything under this one site where I can categorize my posts between “IT related” and “BBQ related” and thus simplify my life and update processes by putting everything that is my under moi at JonathanKeller.com 🙂 .
Going to use them in a salad dressing and a bbq sauce. Lets see how it turns out! Results: GROSS lol. I’m pretty sure I over smoked the veggies making them bitter. Sigh..
Ok so far I would surmise the following. Definitely easier to keep the temperature lower using only one basket. Also easier to keep a consistent temperature. The smoke flow is also perfect going right through the ribs and out the top vent. I dont think there’s a better method than this when it comes to air flow through the Weber…
So far so good smoker mod working great perfect temperature!
Ok mods built thanks to and old industrial baking sheet :p. lets see how it works! This should keep the ribs happy. Same idea as ones on YouTube but instead of firebricks and tinfoil I have opted for a more permanent solution.
Really easy set up
